Environmental Planning Services

Community Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement

We provide community outreach and strategic communications services to ensure that project work is transparent and open to public review and comment. Using stakeholder information collection as an important component of any environmental study, adding context, history and nuance to the scientific reviews. Implementing effective strategic communications programs, leveraging our knowledge and experience within the communities of Los Angeles and a proven ability to work collaboratively with local government and agencies.

Greenhouse Gas (GHG)/Carbon Emission Reduction Strategic Planning

Assessment of current facility energy and emissions, identification of greenhouse gas (GHG)/carbon footprint reduction measures in conjunction with a broad range of scientific study, including Noise, Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas, and development of Mitigation Measure Monitoring and Implementation strategies. We have experience supervising complex environmental clearance documents, directing environmental regulatory compliance, in addition to developing and deploying low-carbon technologies and renewable energy solutions.

Low-Impact / Sustainable Site Planning & CEQA/NEPA Documentation

Analysis of proposed project and site details are in compliance with state, regional, local, and California Green Building Code, and zoning requirements. We ensure proposed projects promote high-efficiency, sustainable materials and construction practices for optimal density near major transit intersections, which encourages vibrant pedestrian-oriented environments that reduces motor vehicle trips and miles driven. TMG provides training workshops and technical assistance with electronic documents and forms; including assessment of the local municipal software for preparation of CEQA/NEPA documents.

Sustainability & Environmental Planning

Environmental and natural resource planning, regulatory compliance, and development of sustainable sites which encourage alternate modes of transportation, protect sites, and minimize hardscape and water use. To meet our goals, we have implemented sustainable management plans that limit the environmental impact of our projects. Through the establishment of policies and measures we address energy use, water conservation, GHG emissions reduction, waste diversion, and green building practices in line with U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC), California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines.
